Furthermore, the CPSM designation serves as a mark of distinction for professional services marketers and business developers, raising their standing with their employers, peers, and the public.

A CPSM is recognized as an individual who has met a rigorous standard of experience and expertise in marketing professional services and has demonstrated their knowledge of the practice and related disciplines through a thorough examination of marketing competency. This individual further adheres to the ethics and responsibilities of the profession as outlined in the CPSM Code of Ethics.

SMPS Pittsburgh's 2020 CPSM Bootcamp

If you are a marketing professional or are responsible for marketing and business development in the professional services industries, there is no better way to take your career and knowledge base to the next level than by earning your Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification. The foundation of study for the CPSM certification is the Markendium, an SMPS body of knowledge that is the comprehensive educational resource for the successful practice of marketing and business development in the A/E/C industry.

SMPS Pittsburgh’s boot camp covers the 6 Domains of Practice that make up the MARKENDIUM: Marketing Research, Marketing Planning, Client & Business Development, Proposal Development, Promotional Activity and Management.

During this half-day power session, several veteran CPSMs will present content in each of the six domains, and practice exam questions and handouts will be available to help equip you with the knowledge and strategies to pass your exam. Advance your career, your company, and your potential in the A/E/C arena at our upcoming CPSM Boot Camp!

The registration fee covers admission, handout materials, and example test questions only.

We recommend, but do not require, that attendees also obtain a copy of the MARKENDIUM: The Essentials (Volume 1-6) for $165 (paperback) or $120 for the Kindle Edition on Amazon prior to attending this class.

Participants who wish to take the CPSM exam after the study group has concluded may apply for certification and schedule an exam by visiting the SMPS National website.  Additional fees apply for testing.
