Marketing research involves the gathering and analyzing of information about a given business environment or organization. Without information, we make uninformed decisions which can derail any organization. Often, the organization with the most information wins the brand battle and is king of the market. Research can and should be conducted by proposed, new, and existing businesses. It can shed light on finding new market opportunities, monitoring competitors, strategy development, market feasibility, and assessing potential threats. Information gathering is vital to any decision-making process.  Attendees will hear about the simplicity of research, the various techniques, the pitfalls of not conducting research, and the value it brings to any organization or decision-maker. Easy to implement strategies for the collection of information will be presented.
