Description: The Senior Marketing Coordinator is the primary point-of-contact for marketing in the local office. The position is responsible for leading the marketing and business development efforts for the office, including setting priorities, preparing business development plans and reports, supervising marketing staff, and providing quality control for all marketing deliverables.

While reporting to the Director of Marketing for overall direction and resource allocation, the Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to Principals, Studio Directors, and local Market Leaders for their business development efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with principals and market leaders to identify and track targets and leads and to prepare business development reports, as well as assist in strategic planning
  • Facilitates a proactive business development effort in collaboration with the principals in the office; runs the bi-weekly office business development meeting
  • Supervises marketing team and works closely with the graphic design leader
  • Leads the proposal preparation and production effort
  • Works with presentation teams to strategize and rehearse for presentations
  • Creates content as required for specific proposals, qualifications, brochures, presentations, etc.
  • Provides review and quality control of proposals, presentations, award submissions, etc.
  • Promotes the visibility of the firm in the region through local public relations (with communications staff) and leads our participation in local events
  • Coordinates the local photography and awards, as well as advertising and sponsorships
  • Interfaces with marketing departments and practice area leaders in other offices
  • Provides coaching in marketing and business development skills for office staff members
  • Responsible for the organization of marketing resources, including the proposal files, marketing databases, and other electronic and physical resources that may be available
  • Leads data gathering initiative to update resumes, reference information, project information, and consultant/vendor information
  • Attends local industry events and builds relationships with consultants

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphics/marketing for the A/E/C industry.
  • The ability to work as part of team as well as independently.
  • Client/Customer Service: understanding of marketing as a service to the office.
  • Design: High level of design sensibility.
  • Graphics: High level of graphics capabilities.
  • Communications: Ability to speak and write clearly.
  • Organizational: Ability to clearly organize documents and resources during the production process.
  • Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign; Photoshop) and MS Office.
  • Working Knowledge of Deltek Vision a plus
